Baylor was just seconds away from advancing to the third round of the NIT. Fortunately for Mississippi State, Quinndary Weatherspoon had other plans.

Playing in Baylor’s Ferrell Center, the Bears took a two-point lead with only five seconds left in the contest. With the home crowd cheering on their Bears final bucket, Mississippi State ran down the court for one final look and jacked up a three that bounced in as the final buzzer sounded.

Mississippi State won the game 78-77 and lives to fight on another day in the NIT.
