WATCH: Calvin Ridley after tour of Falcons’ training facility: ‘This is the best day of my life’

In a somewhat surprising move, former Alabama WR Calvin Ridley ended up with the Atlanta Falcons in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft.
Now, he’ll team up with fellow former Alabama star Julio Jones, who is one of the best receivers in the NFL.
In the video below, Ridley tours the Falcons’ facility, saying it’s the best day of his life — even better than committing to Alabama:

“This is the best day of my life,” he says in the video.
“Even better than when you committed to Alabama?” the interviewer asks.
“Even better,” Ridley agrees.
Of course, Ridley won two college titles while in Tuscaloosa, so perhaps he was just caught up in the moment. However, he also became a millionaire on Thursday, and that’s what every college football player hopes to accomplish, so he has truly accomplished an incredible goal heading into his rookie season.
