Former Tennessee Volunteers and New Orleans Saints WR Robert Meachem had $1 million stolen from him by his former money manager, according to the Associated Press.

Meachem hired Tonya Lynn Adkism in 2010 to manage his money, but now, she faces charges of bank fraud, mail fraud, wire fraud and aggravated identify theft. Authorities allege that the 44-year-old forged Meachem’s signature on checks to withdraw money from his accounts, KHOU reported. If convicted of all charges, Adkism faces more than 300 years in prison.

In February 2017, Meachem was sentenced to 30 days in jail for failing to pay $388,000 in alimony and child support. At that time, Meachem said that Adkism had stolen a lot of money from him and he was left unable to fulfill his obligations.

During his eight NFL seasons, Meachem made $22.6 million, according to Sportrac. The Saints drafted Meachem in the first round of the 2007 NFL Draft. He caught 178 passes for 2,914 yards and 27 TDs.
