The University of Alabama announced its kickoff time for the season opener against Louisville for 8:00 p.m. ET.

The game kicks off from Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida on September 1 and will be televised on ABC.

“The 2018 game will mark the seventh consecutive neutral-site season opener for the Crimson Tide,” said the past Director of Athletics Bill Battle at the time of the announcement. “Neutral-site games have been good for Alabama in national exposure as well as financially under Coach Saban’s leadership. Our first regular-season neutral-site game in Orlando will provide another great matchup of national interest against an excellent Louisville program, but is also a new venue that I believe our fans will enjoy.”

This matchup heavily favors Alabama, as the Cardinals lost their best player, QB Lamar Jackson, to the NFL this past season.

The biggest question now is which Alabama QB will open the season as the starter: Jalen Hurts or Tua Tagovailoa? The QB battle has yet to be decided for Alabama, and both signal callers could play against Louisville.
