When the Cleveland Browns drafted Antonio Callaway in the fourth round of this year’s NFL Draft, they knew that he had a lot of potential; but even coaches have to be a little surprised with how well he’s done in training camp.

Callaway has reportedly “rocketed” up the depth chart in Cleveland, and with the Corey Coleman trade that occurred earlier this week, he knows he has to keep that momentum going.

The former Florida receiver could potentially even start for the Browns, something he alluded to in the video below, which was posted by Allan Bell of 247Sports:

“It opened up the door for me,” Callaway said. “More opportunities to show my ability at the next level.”

When asked if he was expected to start or at least practice with the first team, Callaway simply said, “yes sir.”

Callaway recorded 89 receptions for 1,399 yards and seven touchdowns during his college career at Florida. Due to being suspended in 2017 following his involvement with the Florida credit card fiasco, he decided to declare for the 2018 NFL draft.
