Earlier this week, former Auburn DL Gabe Wright was involved in a scuffle at practice with former Alabama RB Kenyan Drake.

That, apparently, was enough for the Miami Dolphins to waive the fourth-year defender, but Wright wasn’t without a team for long.

According to a report from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Wright has been claimed off waivers by the Oakland Raiders:

Wright is entering his fourth year in the NFL, but he’s already on his fifth team. He was drafted by the Detroit Lions back in 2015, going in the fourth round. Since then, he’s spent time with the Cleveland Browns, Philadelphia Eagles and the Dolphins.

Wright has appeared in 13 games in his career, recording nine total tackles and two pass breakups.
