The Alabama defense is known for its strength and speed but sophomore linebacker Dylan Moses is on a whole other level of fast.

In Week 1 against Louisville, Cardinals wide receiver Seth Dawkins forced a missed tackle from an Alabama defender after catching a screen pass. Dawkins began running down the sidelines at midfield, and it appeared as though he had a clear path to the end zone.

But not with Moses on the field. The linebacker displayed his tremendous speed, chasing down the wide receiver from behind.

Moses almost took too sharp of an angle to catch him, but he had just enough speed, which is extremely impressive for a linebacker, and dove to perhaps make a touchdown-saving tackle.

That was one of four tackles Moses made in the Week 1 victory against Louisville. As a freshman last season, he played in 11 games and made 30 tackles. Moses also posted 1.5 sacks and an interception in 2017.

With that type of speed, he’s a star in the making. Stud linebackers are nothing new at Alabama and Moses may be the fastest one yet to star for the program under Nick Saban.
