The much-anticipated matchup between Georgia and South Carolina at Williams-Brice Stadium is nearing, and South Carolina’s Twitter account gave fans a glimpse of what the Gamecocks will be wearing on Saturday.

South Carolina is bringing out all the stops to energize the fanbase and the football team for what is the likely the biggest game on South Carolina’s SEC schedule this season, only on week 2.

The Gamecocks Twitter account unveiled their uniform combination Thursday: garnet helmets, garnet jerseys and black pants.

The most notable change in uniform this season is the design on the helmet, moving away from the Gamecock logo and spelling out “Carolina” in cursive.

This game is a huge opportunity for Will Muschamp to get his signature win of not only his time at South Carolina but his entire coaching career. Georgia comes in as as the No. 3 team in the country in the AP Poll and the favorite to win the SEC East.

The game will be broadcasted on CBS at 3:30 EST, and South Carolina seems as though it is ready to pull out all the stops to knock off the Bulldogs.
