Texas A&M didn’t get off to the best start against Alabama. After an early interception, Alabama scored on the following play and jumped out to a quick 7-0 lead.

The Aggies weren’t rattled however, and Kellen Mond led his offense on a 9-play 99-yard drive against the best defense in the nation to tie the game at seven apiece.

The drive was highlighted by this 54-yard run by Mond, which got Texas A&M all the way down to Alabama’s 15-yard line.

Mond then finished the drive, finding TE Jace Sterberger for the 15-yard score.

It’s early, but it’s clear that Texas A&M isn’t scared of No. 1 Alabama.
