Many will remember former Alabama long snapper Carson Tinker, who was made famous after the tornado that rocked Tuscaloosa years ago.

After the storm, which caused the deaths of Tinker’s girlfriend, Ashley Harrison, and 246 other people, Tinker released a book titled “A Season to Remember: Faith in the Midst of the Storm.”

Now with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Tinker’s season came to an abrupt halt this week, according to a report by AL.com’s Mark Inbabinett. The Jaguars placed Tinker on injured reserve after he had been limited in practice due to a knee injury.

Tinker’s injured knee is reportedly the same one hurt last year when he tore his ACL during the 2017 preseason. From 2013-2016, Tinker served as the long-snapper for all 64 of the Jaguars’ games.
