After losses to LSU and Mississippi State, Auburn has lost some believers.

But not Tim Tebow.

The former Florida quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner isn’t ready to rule out the Tigers just yet. On Friday, Tebow said he still believes Auburn can have a strong season and make it to the College Football Playoff, but it’s going to take certain things to happen.

“Now we’re talking about, ‘Auburn still has a chance for the playoff, everything’s in front of them,’ and there still is a lot,” Tebow told the media, including Jeff Shearer of AuburnTigers.com. “They have the chance to go to Georgia and Alabama. They get those two wins, there’s no one in the country that’s going to have two good of wins as those. So I think everything’s still in front of them, and they can have a lot of hope for the future, but they’ve got to get things figured out offensively.”

Auburn plays Georgia on Nov. 10 and Alabama on Nov. 24. In order for those games to matter for the Tigers, they’ll likely need to win the rest of their SEC schedule, which includes Tennessee, Ole Miss and Texas A&M.

The Tigers look to get back on track on Saturday when they host Tennessee at 12 p.m. ET.
