Alabama’s offense looks like it will be at full strength against Auburn this weekend.

During Wednesday’s SEC Coaches Teleconference, Nick Saban had good news for a trio of offensive players who had recently been dealing with injuries. Running back Damien Harris and offensive linemen Deonte Brown and Alex Leatherwood have all been practicing this week, which is a good sign they’ll play when the No. 1 Crimson Tide (11-0, 7-0 SEC) hosts the Tigers (7-4, 3-4) at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday.

Saban also offered his thoughts on Auburn’s rushing attack and passing game ahead of the Iron Bowl. Below is everything Saban said during his portion of the teleconference.

Opening statement:

  • It’s always a great challenge in this game, always a great rivalry. We have respect for their team and their weapons. It’s going to take a great effort to have success in this game.

Update on RB Damien Harris:

  • He is cleared, he practiced yesterday. Without a setback, we hope he is OK.

On studying Auburn’s run game, how much do you put in the Liberty tape, as opposed to their struggles?

  • I don’t think you discount it. There’s not much parity compared to who they just played, but we’ve always struggled to stop them. We have to create positive down-and-distance situations against them.

When was your first Iron Bowl moment?

  • I don’t think you really appreciate it until you play in the game. The first one I played in, I kind of had the moment then when I realized how much this meant to so many people — on both sides.

On LSU DC Dave Aranda:

  • I think he does an outstanding job, does a sound job. His players are coached well, they execute. They create issues for you. I have respect for their defense. It’s his system and his scheme, so he’s responsible for that.

Update on OL Deonte Brown and Alex Leatherwood:

  • They are both practicing. When you have injured players, you have to go day-to-day. Both guys are making good progress.

On Auburn’s passing game, how well do you match up?

  • I think they have some explosive players. We had issues covering them last year. We have respect for the QB; they did well against A&M. This will be a real challenge for us.
