Now that Ole Miss’ season is over, D.K. Metcalf has officially made a decision about his future.

The Rebels receiver will declare for the 2019 NFL Draft, according to a report from Yahoo! Sports. Metcalf, a redshirt sophomore, has not played since suffering a season-ending neck injury against Arkansas on Oct. 13.

Through seven games this season, Metcalf had 26 receptions for 569 yards and five touchdowns. The 6-foot-4, 230-pound receiver finishes his Ole Miss career with 67 catches, 1,228 receiving yards and 14 scores.

Metcalf’s departure will create a void at receiver for the Rebels, who are already losing Damarkus Lodge to graduation and may see junior A.J. Brown enter the draft, as well.

Ole Miss ended its season with a 35-3 loss against Mississippi State on Thursday.
