Devin White has made another headline even since LSU’s seven-overtime loss to Texas A&M.

The LSU linebacker, who leads the team in tackles and tackles for a loss, tweeted this morning that he plans to play in the Fiesta Bowl against Central Florida.

White’s announcement is good news for a defense that on Sunday learned that it would be without top cornerback Greedy Williams, who said he would declare for the NFL Draft and not play in the Fiesta Bowl.

White’s 112 tackles are second in the SEC, while his 12 tackles for a loss are 10th in the SEC.

One of the more outgoing personalties in the SEC, White last week rode his horse around campus.

White is widely expected to be a first-round draft pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.
