LOOK: Tennessee fans, media members react to No. 1 Duke losing to unranked Syracuse

The Tennessee Volunteers are No. 3 in the latest AP Poll, behind No. 1 Duke and No. 2 Michigan despite having a resume that can go head-to-head with any team’s in the nation.

Now, the Vols are in position to move up to at least No. 2 in the country. On Monday night, an unranked Syracuse team went into Cameron Indoor Stadium and beat top-ranked Duke 95-91 in overtime.

Michigan is still undefeated, and the Vols have home games against Arkansas and Alabama this week, but if they take care of business, a rise in the rankings is coming.

As you might expect, Vol fans are pretty excited about Duke’s loss. As you can see below, fans and media members flocked to Twitter to celebrate the Blue Devils’ loss:
