The Mississippi State Bulldogs are losing a key assistant in RB coach Charles Huff, who has been with Joe Moorhead since their Penn State days.

Huff is leaving to take the same position on Alabama’s staff, where he’ll work under Nick Saban, leaving a hole in the Mississippi State staff.

However, on his way out of Starkville, he made sure to show his appreciation for Bulldog nation, tweeting the below message expressing his thanks:

Huff coached at Penn State from 2014 to 2017 before following Moorhead to Starkville for the 2018 season. Now, he’ll join the Crimson Tide’s staff for the 2019 season.

Even though he’s leaving, he clearly appreciates his time with the Bulldogs.
