Georgia QB commit John Rhys Plumlee flipped his commitment to Ole Miss Monday night.

After Georgia signed two QBs during December’s Early Signing Period –he originally committed to UGA on June 15, Kirby Smart asked Plumlee to Blue Shirt. However, the signal caller decided to take more visits to Florida State, Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Auburn. He eventually committed to the Rebels over Florida State Monday night.

The Oak Grove, Mississippi, native is rated a 4-star prospect and ranked as the nation’s No. 13 dual threat QB and the state’s No. 15 overall prospect, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings. He also plans to play baseball at Ole Miss.

Following his commitment, Ole Miss has 29 commitments in the 2019 class.
