Kris Abrams-Draine (Spanish Fort, Alabama) had been committed to LSU for over a year, but things have changed.

The longtime LSU pledge decommitted Thursday evening via social media. The 6-foot, 167-pound wide receiver is rated a 4-star prospect and ranked as the nation’s No. 69 overall pass catcher and the state of Alabama’s No. 15 overall player, per 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Abrams-Draine’s recruitment has been heating up, and he’s visited Tennessee twice, including attending Junior Day, since his commitment to LSU. He’ll also be making another trip to Knoxville for the Vols spring game.

The talented pass catcher holds offers from many big-time programs around the nation, including Florida and Tennessee, among others.

“First of all I would like to thank the LSU coaches for recruiting me, but after careful consideration with my family and coaches, I have decided to decommit from the University of Louisiana. Please respect my decision!”
