Despite playing for a new team, Drew Lock is keeping the same number.

That’s because the Denver Broncos have announced Lock will keep the No. 3 jersey he wore during his outstanding playing career in Columbia. While he’s been given the No. 3 jersey, Denver will likely expect Lock to compete for the No. 2 job this season, at the very least, after the team acquired veteran quarterback Joe Flacco this offseason.

The No. 42 overall selection in the 2019 NFL Draft, Lock was taken by the Broncos in the second round of the draft after throwing for 12,193 yards and 99 touchdowns during his college career.
