Buzz Williams’ program just received some great news as Savion Flagg has announced he will return to College Station for his junior season.

Flagg declared early for the 2019 NBA Draft last month but will spurn that opportunity to suit up for the new Texas A&M coach in 2019.

Flagg started every game for Texas A&M last season and averaged just under 14 points, 7.7 rebounds and 2.3 assists for Texas A&M. His points and rebounds led the team, while his assist total placed him second on the team. In late February, Flagg was named SEC Player of the Week following outstanding performances against Arkansas and Alabama.

Heading into Williams’ first season in College Station, the coach now has his key player to build around moving forward as Flagg has appeared in 62 games spanning the previous two seasons for the Aggies.

Flagg announced his final decision by posting the following video.
