The LSU-Texas A&M rivalry had some gasoline tossed on it thanks to Kellen Mond. Breiden Fehoko didn’t waste any time.

The Aggies quarterback and the Tigers defensive tackle exchanged reaction about the marathon game that Texas A&M won in seven overtimes last season, 74-72,, and how Mond said he lost track of which overtime it was by the third or fourth overtime.

“As you could see, a lot of the LSU players were cramping,” Mond said. “And obviously we were standing tall on both sides of the ball. I feel like our mental toughness was where it needed to be playing a team like that and obviously one of the top defenses, they say DBU. It’s definitely a blessing to be able to go out there and compete the way we wanted to and have the mental toughness to play four quarters and then an extra seven overtimes.”

Fehoko added some clown emojis as his response to the video on Twitter.

If the game on Nov. 30 at LSU wasn’t already circled on the calendar, these comments, and response, are sure to add some flavor.
