It was a white-knuckle affair as LSU and Texas traded heavyweight blows in a marquee matchup. But for one Texas kid, watching LSU put together a last-minute drive proved to be too much.

With LSU holding a 37-31 lead and QB Joe Burrow at the controls, ESPN cameras found the Texas kid in full surrender cobra mode muttering something about the events on the field. The kid appeared to be having a rough night as the Tigers took the lead in the second quarter, led 20-7 at halftime, and pulled away with 22 points in the fourth quarter.

In fact, moments after the kid made it on the broadcast, Burrow found Justin Jefferson for a 61-yard TD to take the lead to 45-31.

Texas will face Rice next week at NRG Stadium.
