Former Arkansas and NFL quarterback Ryan Mallett was arrested on Tuesday.

According to KNWA in Northwest Arkansas, the former quarterback was arrested for driving while intoxicated. The report states that his BAC level was .08.

The Springdale Police Department made the arrest around 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 10. Mallett was said to be cooperative with police and was booked into the Washington County Detention Center.

Mallett starred at Arkansas from 2009-10. In two career seasons with the Hogs, Mallett threw for 7,493 yards, 62 touchdowns and 19 interceptions. He helped lead Arkansas to an 18-8 record.

Following his college career, Mallett was drafted in the third round of the 2011 NFL Draft. He played for the New England Patriots (2011-13), Houston Texans (2014-15) and Baltimore Ravens (2015-17). The former Hogs signal caller threw for 1,835 yards, nine touchdowns and 10 interceptions during his seven-year NFL career.
