South Carolina will host Alabama for the first time in nine years Saturday. That calls for a unique uniform combination.

It also means announcing that uniform combo in an epic way, which South Carolina did via Twitter on Thursday night.

As the video shows, South Carolina will don its “big game garnet” look. The jerseys also have a white and black stripe on the shoulder pads.

The rest of the uniform consists of mostly white on the helmet, shoes and gloves. Check it out in the below video:

If this uniform combination looks familiar, you might recognize it from the last time South Carolina upset Alabama, which was the most recent time these two programs met in Columbia during the 2010 season. South Carolina won that contest, 35-21.

With the current state of scheduling and the SEC conference, Alabama and South Carolina only meet every six years. After Saturday, the next time Alabama visits Columbia to play South Carolina will be 2031.

Alabama holds a 10-4 edge in the all-time series, but South Carolina has won three of the last five matchups.

The article has been updated after erroneously referring to uniforms as maroon instead of garnet.
