It’s been several days since Auburn’s blowout victory against Mississippi State, but Bulldogs coach Joe Moorhead is still answering questions about the Tigers.

Most notably, when asked about the Auburn defensive line Wednesday, Moorhead said defensive tackle Derrick Brown is “as good as I’ve seen in 21 years.” Moorhead added he is “a real physical presence and incredibly athletic for his size.” The Mississippi State coach also credit the Auburn defensive line for why the Bulldogs didn’t have more success on offense.

Not that Moorhead didn’t also credit Gus Malzahn and his coaching staff. On Wednesday, Moorhead said Auburn recruits well and does a “good job of putting their kids in a position to be successful.”

Mississippi State is on a bye this week and then will visit Tennessee on Oct. 12.
