LSU quarterback Joe Burrow had another big-time performance Saturday night in the 42-28 win over Florida.

Burrow finished 21-of-24 for 293 yards and three touchdowns, and LSU’s offensive line was stellar blocking for the quarterback. Burrow picked apart Florida’s defense because he had a lot of time, and he was effective running when he needed to be. Burrow rushed for 43 yards.

Florida’s defense couldn’t even slow down Burrow and company, and this group looks like it’s primed to make an SEC Championship run.

Yes, Burrow and LSU were great in the win over Florida, but Burrow had a very specific message to his team. He shared it after the game.

“I just made a comment. I said, ‘Don’t let good enough get in the way of greatness,'” Burrow explained. “That just means come back to work on Monday ready to go. Still a lot of ways we can improve.

“Obviously, we’re going to enjoy this win. It’s a big win for us. … We just can’t get complacent. We have so much more room to improve, so much more to accomplish, and I think we can really get there.”

LSU has its leader in Burrow, and he’s determined to keep everyone focussed.
