Auburn fans voice frustrations with struggling offense after AU falls to LSU
Auburn’s defense showed up on Saturday in Baton Rouge, holding the high-powered LSU offense to just 23 points. Those 23 points proved to be enough for the Bayou Bengals, as AU could only come up with 20 points. From the fan perspective, it felt like Auburn’s inability to take advantage of opportunities on offense was the deciding factor in the outcome.
Auburn finished with 287 yards of offense (157 passing, 130 rushing).
Gus Malzahn’s squad managed a fourth-quarter touchdown drive to cut it to 23-20 LSU, but for most fans, it wasn’t enough to forget their frustrations from earlier offensive struggles.

Auburn's defense is easily top 10 but their offense is so miserable they are consistantly in bad positions. I mean, tOSU is really good so I wouldn't necessarily argue that. It sure looks like tOSU is going to run the table and get to the playoffs so you may get that matchup.

Does Auburn practice offense during the week? Would seem like a good idea in my mind but what do I know.

If the auburn offense wasn’t inept they could be winning

This is the worst offense I’ve seen in an Auburn uniform. It’s gross. Feel terrible for our defense. They deserve better.

Auburn. I love you but geez, get an offense.

This is typical auburn. Offense sputters, and so defense stays on field for over 90 plays a game.

Auburn’s defense is probably top 5 in the country, but that offense is just awful.

Even if officials threw a flag on every play, Auburn’s offense is garbage and would still be losing.
