Jake Fromm is 2-0 against Florida entering Saturday’s game, but this Florida team is different, and the Gators defense is finally getting healthy.

Fromm has also struggled his last two games against South Carolina and Kentucky. Perhaps the UK game had more to do with the weather than anything else, but it’s still fair to wonder when this Georgia offense, led by Fromm, will turn the corner.

Will Fromm get right against Florida?

“Very good chance he gets right (against Florida),” Finebaum said on SportsCenter. “Jake Fromm is an enormous athlete and many have told me he reminds them of Tim Tebow. But he’s been through a slump, and his last two games have been abysmal. He knows that. Unfortunately for him, he’s going up against one of the best defenses he’ll see fully-healthy.

“He needs to get off to a very quick start. He’s not a good come-from-behind player. He needs to shake off that game against Kentucky and the loss to South Carolina, and I think he will.”

Fromm torched Florida’s defense in 2018, finishing 17-of-24 for 240 yards and three touchdowns. The Gators defense hasn’t stopped the run well at all this year, and it’s likely Todd Grantham will attempt to take away the Bulldogs rushing attack.

Therefore, Fromm could have a big game throwing the football in one-on-one coverage.

Georgia and Florida kickoff Saturday from Jacksonville at 3:30 p.m. ET.
