The most watched injury recovery in college football got another update Wednesday afternoon, this time by video as Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa worked out in practice ahead of the LSU game.

Tagovailoa appeared to move smoothly as he went through drills during a team workout, according to video shared by Michael Casagrande of AL.com.

Although Alabama coach Nick Saban said earlier Wednesday that Tagovailoa remains a game-time decision to play on Saturday, today was the third straight day that Tagovailoa has practiced.

The drills were similar to Tuesday as they were more than just throwing, as Tagovailoa also moved around to drop back and throw. The Alabama quarterback is coming back from ankle surgery after he suffered a right ankle injury against Tennessee on Oct. 19. He hasn’t played since then.

Alabama hosts LSU this Saturday, and Tagovailoa’s status will play a major factor in the outcome of the game, and how the Alabama offense looks. If not, Alabama will be forced to turn to backup signal caller Mac Jones, who beat Arkansas on Oct. 26 in Tagovailoa’s absence.

Warmups and the first play of the game on offense for Alabama should be watched especially close.
