Well, Thursday started off with a bang for Georgia.

Three-star offensive guard Jared Wilson verbally committed to the Bulldogs over offers from Clemson, North Carolina and Duke, among others. Wilson (Clemmons, N.C.) is ranked as the nation’s No. 19 offensive guard and the state of North Carolina’s No. 28 overall prospect, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Following Wilson’s commitment, Georgia now has three prospects committed in the class of 2021.

The 6-4, 325-pound guard unofficially visited North Carolina in October, but pulled the trigger for the Dawgs Thursday. He shared his commitment via social media.
