Arkansas fans vent frustration toward Hunter Yurachek
Frustration is at peak levels in Arkansas following another disappointing loss, this time against Western Kentucky on Saturday. Looking past coach Chad Morris, fans have now directed their focus toward Athletics Director Hunter Yurachek.
Some of the issues raised by fans on social media were that not making a move with Morris could cost the university and athletics department more money long-term, and it could become a leadership problem. Knowing Morris’ comment about needing more time to build the program, some fans responded that it shouldn’t take time to beat non-Power 5 programs, like WKU.
There doesn’t appear to be improvement, and in some areas, the team looks worse than it did last year.
As the season wears on, and Yurachek and Morris continue to reportedly have their Sunday meetings, the athletics director will be even more closely watched as fans look for a move.
Here’s a sampling of some of the frustrations vented toward Yurachek:
I will absolutely not renew my season tickets if Morris stays. I have had them for 20 years.
