T-Bob Hebert may be among the most vocal LSU supporters working in media today, and so his reaction to LSU beating Alabama on Saturday is fairly predictable. But he still may need a cough drop after this segment.

Hebert is a morning co-host on 104.5 ESPN and let loose a tremendous reaction to the result.

“Can you smeellll what Coach O is cooking?,” said Hebert, the son of former New Orleans Saints quarterback Bobby Hebert, who played offensive line for LSU from 2007-2011. “It’s over, baby. The nightmare’s over. Let the healing begin. You won 31 in a row, you’ve lost one in a row. Suck it! In your own house. Dominated, beginning to end, you had flukish scores, lucky breaks, and it didn’t matter. Oh what’s that? What are you going to say? It doesn’t matter what you’re going to say. What are you going to do when the Tigers come for you? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.”

That’s one of the more passionate displays of celebration following a rivalry win we’ve seen in a while. It goes to show you what that rivalry means to LSU and the people and Louisiana, and what the last eight meetings have meant to them.
