Kicking and punting have continued to be issues for Alabama this season. The Crimson Tide have been hampered by the absence of K/P Will Reichard, who is dealing with a hip injury.
On Wednesday, coach Nick Saban spoke with reporters and provided an update on the versatile special-teams player.
As you can see below, Saban isn’t confident that Reichard will be able to play against Mississippi State on Saturday:
Saban on Will Reichard (hip): "He's made progress. But he's still not out on the field, and we don't anticipate him being able to contribute in this game."

Joseph Bulovas figures to continue handling the kicking duties, while Ty Perine, who had a costly mistake against LSU, may hold on to the punting job.
Can Reichard return before the end of the regular season? We’ll find out in the next couple of weeks.
