Parting ways with second-year head coach Chad Morris on November 10, the Arkansas Razorbacks are set to travel to Baton Rouge on Saturday to face the No. 1 LSU Tigers in their first game with interim Barry Lunney Jr.

Sitting at 2-8 overall and 0-6 in the SEC, many Razorback fans are devoting more of their attention to the school’s coaching search than the on-field product.

One Arkansas fan expressed his preferred candidate on Twitter and actually received a response back:

Let go with two games remaining in his second season, Morris posted just a 4-18 record during his time in Fayetteville.

Playing quarterback for Fresno State from 1994-96, Kiffin began his career in coaching with the Bulldogs in 1997. Joining the USC Trojans in 2001, he worked his way up to the role of passing game coordinator/offensive coordinator by 2005.

Receiving his first head coaching job with the National Football League’s Oakland Raiders in 2007, he returned to the collegiate ranks as the coach of the Tennessee Volunteers in 2009. Lasting just one season in Knoxville, he went back to Los Angeles to oversee USC’s program in 2010.

Infamously dismissed by then-AD Pat Haden on the tarmac following a 21-point loss to Arizona State in 2013, he spent three seasons in Tuscaloosa as Nick Saban’s offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach from 2014-16.

Assuming his role in Boca Raton in 2017, Kiffin has posted a 23-13 (16-6 Conference USA) record with the Owls.
