Lynn Bowden did it all for Kentucky this season. But now, his time with the Wildcats is coming to an end.

On Monday, Bowden announced that he will be leaving Kentucky and declaring for the 2020 NFL draft. He shared his decision via a message to Wildcats fans on Twitter.

Bowden played wide receiver his first two seasons at Kentucky and started there in 2019. However, due to multiple injuries, the Wildcats ran out of depth at quarterback. So Bowden switched positions and led their offense for the final seven games of the regular season.

This year, Bowden had 30 receptions for 348 yards and a touchdown and 1,235 yards and 11 touchdowns on the ground. He also passed for 330 yards and two touchdowns.

Although Bowden played mostly quarterback this season, his future in the NFL should be back at wide receiver.

Before the draft in April, Bowden will play for the Wildcats one final time. Kentucky is set to take on Virginia Tech in the Belk Bowl on Dec. 31 at noon ET on ESPN.
