The 2019 season was a forgettable one for the Arkansas defense, but one Razorback defender believes his individual performance was good enough to get him an NFL opportunity.

Arkansas DB Kamren Curl announced on Thursday that he is declaring for the 2020 NFL Draft. He shared a thank you to Razorback Nation via his Twitter account:

Curl had two interceptions this season, tying him for No. 15 among SEC defenders. He also recorded two pass breakups for four total passes defended. Curl’s 76 total tackles – including 4 TFL, 2 sacks and 2 forced fumbles – were good enough for No. 18 individually in the SEC. The junior from San Diego logged a 69-yard fumble return for a touchdown this season.
