Tennessee basketball coach Rick Barnes reached an incredible milestone, 700 wins with the Volunteers’ 75-53 win over Jacksonville State on Saturday. On Sunday, UT’s social media team shared an awesome video of many famous faces congratulating Barnes.

With Barnes having coached at Texas and Tennessee, the video features a wide range of his connections from the Volunteer State and Lone Star State. Even former President George W. Bush offered his congratulations.

“Hello, Rick. George W. Bush here from the great state of Texas,” Bush said. “Congratulations on winning on your 700th basketball game. Not only are you a great coach, but you’re a really good man.”

Athletic director Phil Fulmer opened the five-minute video.

“Rick and Candy, we want to say a special congratulations to you guys,” Fulmer said. “One, thanks for the difference you’ve made in our community. We love you much for that. Also congratulations on coming up on 700 wins. That is an accomplishment that very few people have been able to do — 22 ever, coaches have gotten to 700 wins. And only seven that are currently active.

“We love all that you’ve done on the court. We also love the fact that you’ve impacted our young men in a positive way. Congratulations and we love you much.”

Vols fans will be happy to hear from Jordan Bone and Grant Williams.

“Yo, what’s up coach? Just wanted to congratulate you on your 700th career win,” Bone said. “It’s a huge milestone that very few have accomplished. But no one is more deserving than you. Just wanted to encourage you to keep pushing, keep continuing to get those guys better like I know you will. I miss and love you. God bless. Vol Nation, stand up.”

“What’s up, coach? I just want to say congratulations on your 700th win,” Williams chimes in. “I just want to thank you for all that you’ve done for me and my family throughout the course of my career and my life. I’m thankful because you made me the man I am and I’m in the position I’m in today because of you. Hopefully, you can continue to do that for many other individuals in their careers. And I just wanted to give you a big shoutout because 700 is a lofty number and you deserve it.”

On the Texas side, Kevin Durant and Mack Brown are among the notable appearances.

“Coach, congrats on 700. I appreciate you,” Durant said. “Thanks for letting me part of a couple of them dubs. I know you’re figuring out how to get to another 700, but hopefully you take some time to enjoy this, man. We love you, appreciate you.”

“Coach Barnes, this is your friend Mack Brown at Chapel Hill, N.C. Congratulations on 700 wins,” the former Longhorn football coach said. “You’re a great basketball coach. One of the best ever, which is shown by the success you’ve had at so many different places. But you’re an even better person. I’m lucky to call you my friend. Love you, brother. Congratulations again. Enjoy your success.”
