It was one of those videos where several people in the crowd took a double take. Was Odell Beckham Jr. really handing out wads of cash to players on the field after the national championship game?

Well, according to a report from The Advocate, that wasn’t the case. The money was clear in videos, but it was fake, apparently. An LSU athletic official told The Advocate the money was not real.

Junior wide receivers Justin Jefferson and Jontre Kirklin were seen accepting cash from Beckham on the field. Beckham in a separate video said from the LSU locker room that he would sell Jefferson’s cleats for $200,000.

Beckham, who plays for the Cleveland Browns, played for LSU from 2011-13.
