The battle isn’t over yet for 4-star defensive tackle Jayson Jones (Calera, Alabama).

Jones has been committed to Alabama since July 2, 2018, and he’s set to make his final decision between the Crimson Tide, Oregon Ducks and Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets on National Signing Day next Wednesday, according to AL.com.

The 6-foot-7, 340-pound lineman is ranked as the nation’s No. 32 overall defensive tackle and the state of Alabama’s No. 15 overall prospect for the class of 2020, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings. He could play either defensive tackle or offensive line during his college career, as he’s a mountain of a man.

Jones chose not to sign on December’s Early Signing Day, and he’s been open to other schools despite staying committed to Alabama. Over the weekend, Jones took an official visit to Oregon and came away impressed.

“Man, the people are amazing and the facilities are top-class,” he said, via OregonLive.com. “They have a specific tutor building just for student-athletes. (The) trip was great. (I) had a lot of fun.”
