National Signing Day for the class of 2020 has come and gone, but Arkansas picked up another commitment from a player who can contribute this fall.

AJ Reed, a departing Duke kicker who will join the Razorbacks as a graduate announcement, announced his pledge to the Hogs on Twitter.

“Excited to announce that I’ll be transferring to the University of Arkansas! Thankful for this opportunity!” Reed wrote, tagging head coach Sam Pittman and special teams coordinator Scott Fountain.

Coming out of Prattville (Alabama), Reed had scholarship offers from Duke and USF as a class of 2016 prospect. He was rated the No. 13 kicker in the class on the 247Sports Composite.

This past season with the Blue Devils, Reed was 15-of-18 on field goals with a long of 51 yards and a perfect 34-of-34 on extra points. He logged 15 touchbacks on 54 kickoffs.

Reed is the fourth graduate transfer to pledge to Arkansas since Pittman’s hiring. Feleipe Franks and Jerry Jacobs have already enrolled at UA this semester. Recent commit Levi Draper will join the Hogs once he graduates from Oklahoma in May.
