The SEC is monitoring storm activity in the Gulf of Mexico and there is a possibility that a pair of SEC games may be affected by the storm.

Power Mizzou is reporting, according to multiple sources, “there are ongoing discussions about potentially moving Mizzou vs LSU to Columbia on Saturday due to tropical storm concerns. As of now game still scheduled for Baton Rouge. Decision likely would have to be made by Thursday.”

The Weather Channel forecast for Saturday in Baton Rouge is: “Windy at times with periods of rain. High 78F. W winds at 25 to 40 mph, decreasing to 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 90%. Rainfall around a quarter of an inch.”

Missouri and LSU have only met twice, and the last meeting was in 2016 in Baton Rouge, a 42-7 LSU victory.

Missouri got solid quarterback even in a loss at Tennessee from Connor Bazelak finished 13-of-21 for 218 yards and an interception. Eli Drinkwitz has said that “I don’t think we have enough data to think we’re going to be able to go through the whole season with one quarterback.”

So that leaves the possibility that Shawn Robinson is still in the picture. Against Alabama, Robinson was 19-for-25 with 185 yards and a touchdown. Robinson again got the start in Saturday’s 35-12 loss at Tennessee, but two drives, Robinson had zero yards passing and -4 yards rushing.

LSU, meanwhile, shook off an upset loss to Mississippi State, with a bounce back 41-7 win at Vanderbilt last week.
