The Florida Gators had another brutal defense performance Saturday, and it cost them in the 41-38 loss to the Texas A&M Aggies.

Texas A&M quarterback Kellen Mond threw for 264 yards and 3 touchdowns, while the Aggies also rushed for another 202. Texas A&M finished a whopping 12-15 on third downs and 1-1 on 4th down conversions. The Aggies averaged 5.5 yards per rush, too.

Florida’s defense, led by Todd Grantham, struggled in the first 2 games against Ole Miss and South Carolina, but Saturday it finally played a team that could take advantage of it.

Following the 41-38 loss, fans were calling for the Gators to fire Todd Grantham.
