ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit has unveiled his top four after a full weekend of action.

The popular co-host of College GameDay traditionally weighs in at the end of each week of the season to update his personal rankings. On Sunday, Herbstreit unveiled his current top four along with two teams that would be on the outside looking in for the College Football Playoff.

Leading the way was Clemson at No. 1, but Herbstreit went with two SEC teams in Georgia and Alabama and No. 2 and No. 3 respectively. Notre Dame rounded out the top four with North Carolina and BYU the first two teams on the outside.

In regards to Georgia and Alabama, the two teams occupied the same two slots on the most recent AP Poll, though the AP had Alabama at No. 2 overall. Fortunately, those two teams will square off head-to-head Saturday in Tuscaloosa with College GameDay in town.
