Oct. 3, 2020, was already a day that Sam Pittman will never forget but Arkansas made sure to give him quite the keepsake.

Arkansas’ 21-14 victory against then-No. 16 Mississippi State ended a 20-game SEC losing streak.

The Arkansas equipment staff revealed the personalized game ball presented to the new Razorbacks coach after his first victory.

What an awesome tribute. You can be certain Pittman will proudly display the game ball that he hopes is the first of many victories at Arkansas.

Arkansas lost at Auburn last week in a controversial ending. Their game this week is in limbo because of a COVID-19 outbreak at Ole Miss.

If the game is played, Ole Miss is the lone unranked team Arkansas will have faced through the first 7 games of the season.

Arkansas defeated No. 16 Mississippi State, lost to No. 4 Georgia and No. 13 Auburn, and will face No. 11 Texas A&M, No. 18 Tennessee, and No. 10 Florida consecutively after this week.
