The site of the Arkansas-Texas A&M game has been a hot topic of conversation this week as it was announced that next year’s game would return to Arlington, Texas after this week’s game is played at Kyle Field.

Texas A&M coach Jimbo Fisher shared his thoughts on the situation on the SEC coaches media teleconference, the pros and cons and variables around it.

“I love playing at home and then you always want to play in your stadium, but the opposite years, you’re playing on the in the other state and I do not mind, I really don’t,” Fisher said. “I mean I love playing here but I don’t mind going to Dallas I think we have a lot of fans there, we recruit there. It’s almost halfway for most places. I’m very comfortable with what’s going on here in a tremendous environment.”

On the other and, there is something to be said for neutral site games.

“It does help you when you play neutral site games, to be able to help in your bowl games or playoff experiences if you’re fortunate enough to get to those situations and what goes on and I think their kids like doing it,” he said. “So, I mean, I think there’s advantages to it both ways and plus I mean you’re you’re collecting money, two years in a row in one year.”
