Former Alabama RB Bo Scarbrough has seen his season end for the Seattle Seahawks after he suffered a serious hamstring injury at the bottom of a pile in Thursday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals.

Seattle coach Pete Carroll said today that Scarbrough has a torn hamstring and needs surgery.

Scarbrough was playing in his first game of the 2020 season and was off to a good start, with six carries for 31 yards. The veteran has moved around the NFL after being a seventh-round pick of the Dallas Cowboys. Last year, Scarbrough also played well as a late-season fill-in with the Detroit Lions, with 89 carries for 377 yards.

Scarbrough is on his second stint with the Seahawks and has also played for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

In 2017, Scarborough finished second among the Crimson Tide running backs with 124 carries that went for 596 yards and eight touchdowns.
