Alabama WR DeVonta Smith is probably a shoo-in to win the Biletnikoff Award this year, which is given to the nation’s top receiver.

However, he might be able to earn himself an even bigger award — the Heisman Trophy. A receiver hasn’t won the trophy since Desmond Howard did it at Michigan in 1991, but Smith could do it.

On Saturday, he made a special teams play to pad his resume. As you can see below, he showed his speed and elusiveness on this incredible punt-return TD:

No one was even close to bringing down Smith on that return. He makes it look way too easy. And, that was his first career punt-return TD, too.

Can Smith do enough to jump to the top of the Heisman rankings? There’s clearly nothing Smith can’t do on the football field. We’ll see if there are more big plays to come for Smith against the Razorbacks.
