Nick Saban getting mentioned for Coach of the Year as Alabama cruises to 10-0 SEC record
The Southeastern Conference has never had a team that went 10-0 in conference play until now.
As if that achievement wasn’t impressive enough, Nick Saban’s latest Alabama team was barely tested during the team’s historic regular season run.
Ole Miss managed to put up a ton of points and yards against the Crimson Tide but the Rebel defense never stood a chance when Alabama had the ball as Mac Jones and company scored 63 in that win.
Georgia had the lead at halftime in Tuscaloosa, but Alabama eventually beat the Dawgs 41-24 back on Oct. 17.
After being tied with Arkansas at 3-3 early in the game, Alabama scored 49 consecutive points against the Razorbacks and won 52-3 in Fayetteville.
Now Saban is getting some respect when it comes to Coach of the Year as Alabama just finished the regular season with a perfect record and have locked up a trip to the 2020 SEC Championship Game.
Next weekend, Alabama will face Florida in Atlanta for the league title
So Eli Drinkwitz and Sam Pittman SEC COY campaigns derailed….. how about giving it to the best coach in the league? (novel concept, I know)#Alabama Nick Saban

If Saban does not get Coach of the Year in this season with this team’s performances and improvement then it should just be acknowledged that he is no longer eligible. He should win on his players’ discipline based on Covid testing alone—especially given numbers across the state.

Alabama 45, Arkansas 3. this is the best offense I've watched from a Nick Saban team. so much talent on display. pleasure to watch

While the league championship game is still to come, many fans are already looking forward to Alabama’s potential Playoff run:
We are breaking down every college game, rankings, college football playoffs seeding while Alabama is absolutely destroying everyone they play this year. It’s hard to believe anyone could beat them this year.

Regardless what happens next week, Alabama should be a playoff team and probably the 1 seed.

Alabama is far better than any other three that make the College playoffs in my opinion

Alabama starting to get into their playoff mode of football

Does Alabama ever not win by 40? I feel like I'm missing a real opportunity to quit my job and just max bet Saban
