The Razorbacks have received some good news on the eve of the Early Signing Period as Sam Pittman’s program has landed a commitment from Penn State defensive back transfer, Trent Gordon.

Edit for clarification: This news was first reported by Richard Davenport of Whole Hog Sports.

Gordon was a redshirt sophomore this season and made a total of four appearances on the field before leaving James Franklin’s program. Gordan made 10 appearances on the field during his redshirt freshman season with Penn State.

During his time at Penn State, Gordon made 21 tackles and broke up five passes. He was honored with the Public Service Award at the team’s awards banquet at the end of the 2019 season.

Gordon is a Texas native and played at Manvel High School, where he was a two-time team captain, in Spring, Texas. He was rated as a four-star prospect in the 2018 recruiting cycle.
