If the 2020 college football season had gone on just a bit longer, then it’s possible that Mississippi State would have gotten to play in a snow game.

Although that wasn’t the case, we’re still getting the opportunity to see what Davis Wade Stadium looks like covered in snow. On Monday, after a snowstorm had passed through the Starkville, Miss., area, the Bulldogs shared some photos of the stadium covered in blankets of snow.

And while there aren’t any upcoming games scheduled to take place there, it’s still fun to see what the field looks like when it’s covered by fresh snow, as seen below:

The last time that Mississippi State took the field at Davis Wade Stadium was a positive experience for Bulldogs fans, as it beat Missouri, 51-32, in its regular-season finale. Mississippi State went on to beat Tulsa, 28-26, in the Armed Forces Bowl on Dec. 31 to finish its season at 4-7.

By the time the Bulldogs return to action at Davis Wade Stadium, there certainly won’t be a chance of having snow on the ground. Mississippi State is set to open the 2021 season on Sept. 4 at home against Louisiana Tech.
